I'm surprised 1077 The End isn't playing it more, although I guess that would interfere with them playing Pork and Beans -Weezer a million times a day.
102.1 The Edge in Toronto played it every hour the day it was released...
since then they play it every two hours or so.

WAAF in Boston played The Fixer at the top every hour on Monday and has been playing it regularly every day since then. They usually play a lot of Pearl Jam music in general anyways.
I've also heard The Fixer on Sirius Satellite Radio on the Spectrum, channel 18. I listen to Sirius in the car and at home but listen to regular radio at work all day.

At the moment, according to allaccess.com, KROQ has played it more than any other station in the country....THAT is weird to me.
Not really. They play Pearl Jam more than any other LA radio station. Kevin and Bean used to play Betterman constantly.
Is Stryker still a DJ on KROQ??
He was the cohost on Loveline and he was really obnoxious but I remember him saying he was the DJ or something.
Thats cool LA is playing PJ so much
dont count how many times my window player already played it

who says boston and philly love pearl jam more. l.a. plays them 40 times and we also have 4 shows. looks like l.a. is PJland.
I died. I died and you just stood there. I died and you watched. I died and you walked by and said no. I'm dead.
I've heard it twice here in Ireland on 2FM and Today FM... The DJ who played it is a legend! He was like 'We don't play PJ as much as we should' and proceeded to play Brother as well as Release! First time hearing a non-single from PJ on Irish radio!!

Or Paramore or the Gossip or all the other crap that they play now. Except I actually really like that CHester French song.

I don't know. I rarely, if ever listen to FM unless someone's in the car. I do stream JackFM at work and have been hoping they'll play it! They do play PJ sometimes....

I know WMMR and other stations that claim to be "Pearl Jam stations" might be giving it some spins out of respect, but I checked the website of the alternative rock station up in Scranton (my hometown) and they didn't even play it once today. They did play Animal, Given To Fly, Yellow Ledbetter, I Got Shit, Daughter, Even Flow, and Hunger Strike so far today...which shows they play their fair share of PJ, but no Fixer. I say it debuts at #3 at the highest on the rock charts, before falling off quickly.
There's a reason why they have characters like Dwight Schrute on The Office... Tells you a lot about the kind of people you find in Scranton. Listen to a real station like MMR and 104.5 to hear The Fixer getting all kinds of airtime

98.7 DJ called PJ irrrelavent before the song "the fixer" and stated they were back. It is much better blasting it on the radio than at home on myspace..i have heard it several times in the car..passed the car test

Seems it is getting some UK play. XFM has added it to its playlist. Radio 1's Zane Lowe played it on Tuesday as his show's "The Hottest Record In The World"
I could care less how it does on the radio - I think it is a safe bet that the band is never going to regain the level of commercial success they enjoyed in the early 90s - but who cares? Happy to keep the secret between us for as long as they are willing to keep making music. Isn't radio dead anyway?

the point was to show airplay in a small market rather than a big market like Philly.
