    You can still pull tickets for the 28th. Granted they're shitty seats, but the fact remains, the 28th hasn't sold out.

    And even if they aren't listed as "sold out," the band can see how many tickets have sold and how quickly. So they can gauge the demand and figure out how close they are to selling out and when it might happen.

    Marketing 101 you do not undercut demand for a weekday show by adding 2 weekend shows... you get as much out of the weekday shows and delay the announcement of a 2nd weekend date (if possible).

    It's obvious they are the last band to play there, it's naive to think there wasn't at least the possibility of another show before you bought your ticket, if you only want to go to one show.

    In that vein, as far as I recall, Comcast has never announced that the show on the 30th is the last show ever at the Spectrum, just the Pearl Jam is the last musical act to play the Spectrum.

    Well either way its all good, because I'll get tickets to that show too one way or another. And if there's a 10C sale (which I'm having my doubts about) I am confident I'll get through on it...got through with every other sale on this tour w/tickets in car, even though I only actually bought tix to 10/30 (uh oh, here comes the lynch mob! :o ) so hopefully my employer's internet connection will come up big again ;););)

    Actually they did, or at least higher-up guy from that company did - read it in a Philly news story.

    400 level behind the stage no less. Like I said, I seriously doubt those tix being available has any effect on a 3rd show

Fuck them for not announcing the third date. :roll: Its not like they have a new song on the radio or anything... wouldn't want to build demand with that. No...     I really don't know where this reaction came from, but ok. My point is, the really really shitty seats often don't sell out (or even go on sale), but that doesn't have much bearing on another show.

    "We didn't sell these 50 seats, so we're gonna pass on selling another 15,000"
