Whats the meaning of the song? Who or what is "The Fixer"? Whats the general meaning behind the lyrics of the song?

    I don't think there is some deep hidden meaning. I think its as straightforward a song as PJ has ever made. I think the fixer is the listener. The song is a message of taking power and fighting for something instead just waiting to see what happens.

    OR maybe I am just too tired :?

    The Fixer is about just that...fixing something...

    it's not specific to one subject...it's about trying to make things right...

    in the stickied thread where we transcribed the lyrics, we were talking about it...

    you can relate the meaning to anything...a troubled relationship, trying to make a good life for your children, the economic crisis, etc

    it's a general meaning about trying to make things right again and leading someone/something or a group of people/things to the light...
