well thank you for the words and I am DEF trying to take it easy and more importantly safe. Doing just like my bro in law said..."savor" each moment, each scene..everything. Every day I feel like a new adventures about to take place. SOme good, some bad, some strenuous cause of the uphills so plenty of walking and bikepushing but all in all its worth it till the end. Its gonna be 2-3 months that I'll carry with me for a long time. Meeting the peeps from here and random nice people from state to state all adds to the whole experience. Hopefully I can reach the goal of 50,000 I set for the CCFA by that time.
Solat thanx man and hope you had a good vaca!
J...meet me in San Antonio bro....lets do this!Aah, fuck it, I’m just gonna go home, turn on the fuckin’ TV...
Watch the nightly news and drink a beer...

Dude this has to be biggest and best thing you have ever done. I have to say I am really impressed with your dedication. Steph and I will be donating and if you need any money on you trip give me a call. For all those people that have met Eli you are some lucky individuals. We have been friends for some years now and I can say he created the Pearl Jam fan that I am today. I also can accredit him to meeting my girlfriend of 4 1/2 years. He's a man among men and I wanted to say Eli I salute you. I'll be in touch just good luck and be safe. shanestickboy wrote:Cairo huh? from my moms birthplace!

Your mom was born in Cairo? Seriously? WOW
Aww you're absolute welcome! I mean what you are doing is really inspiratonal, I mean who doesn't love to embark on some wacky adventure? And meet great people, PJ fans or not, because sometimes meeting people from all walks of life just adds it to the whole adventure! Sometimes people are more important than anythingSo I really hope you have a lot of fun and a great one! And it's just great that it's for a cause, really shows what lengths a person can go to just to help out, Also that's another part of the adventure is that you get tired lol, you're supposed to be roughing it out and that's what you're doing
And it's great! You got all my good vibes and wishes hehe....Have a great time Eli! We're all with ya

If they won't help does anyone in the US know of an equivalent to http://www.justgiving.com where we could set up a page for Eli that would track the sponsorship then send it to the charity?
I tried googling but I keep getting mainly UK based hitsSo are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?0 -
Can you make it to Seattle by Nov 3rd?

man im a lil pissed about how lazy ccfa is being with this :( This is such a big opportunity! I mean look at how much money and awareness has already been raised, and your trip has just begun! Ill send ccfa an email and be like "yo hey, wtf ccfa?" hehe I mean this is just such a big deal for them.. you would think they would be knocking down mountains to make it easier/more efficient for you but they wont even return your email??
So man charities would be beside themselves to get a chance like this.. maybe we need a few back up charities just in case...
We are all rooting for you lou! There are so many people that affected by chrons and colitis , i know those families are so grateful for what you are doing.
stay safe and happy0 -

good job kids! This is why I love yall:
email 1:
Hello Eli,
We at CCFA are loudly cheering for you go across state lines in your ride for a cure!
Presently, there is still a delay in getting the web site to where it should be. I am actively working with the IT team to speed up the process, but as you know, the switch over to new software is a major issue.
As you requested, I enquired about adding a tracker so that you could see at a glance how much money your effort has raised so far, but unfortunately it cannot be added at this present time. I will have the results for you in terms of what money your event has raised hopefully by later this afternoon. I am meeting with the IT manager who will be gathering this information from the site, then I will email you with the results.
I commend your noble efforts, and thank you for your selflessness in taking on this event that will make in a difference in the lives of the people who are suffering from these chronic illnesses.
You will be hearing from me soon.
Thank you!
and email 2:
Hello Eli,
You are doing great!
