have they announced that at all?

and will it be available on itunes or just tenclub?

can anyone answer these questions for the jeagler?

    I don't think anyone but the Ten Club can answer these questions for the Jeagler. Billboard has stated that on Monday, the Fixer goes to "U.S. radio and digital retailers" (http://www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/pea ... 3675.story). Take this to mean what you will - I personally think that means that one, the other, or both, of the iTunes Store or the Ten Club store, will have the track (and hopefully the b-side). In any case, I think that confirms it will be available tomorrow, and I think that's all the information we've received.

    yeah i thought so too. normally when a new release comes out it is available at 12:01am on itunes. hopefully that is the case here.

    but it certainly would be nice to get a little heads up from the fucking fan club, right?!

    I'm not sure about a time, but if you go look under Downloads in the the Goods Section there is an empty box that highlights when you scroll your cursor over it. Check out the last spot on the right hand side of the second row. Usually this is an indicator that something will be going on sale soon through the 10C. :D

    Unfortunately, that's not the case. There are always four boxes going across that highlight - even if the last one is empty.

    Are you sure? I'm not sure if I noticed that before or not. I know nothing highlights under Tickets unless there is an upcoming show going on sale.

    itunes sucks. Low crappy quality MP3s. 128 bit!???? Do people really not notice the difference in quality these days??? You would think for the same price as a CD, they would give you at least a 256 kbps file...Hopefully 10C is download is higher quality than sh-itunes...Anyway, when the 45 and Backspacer Vinyl come to the door...THEN I will be :D :P

    If I'm not mistaken, this empty box has been there for several days. I'm not saying that it isn't for the digital download, but it isn't something that just popped up, either.

    Just an FYI here. Since at least April I think, most, if not all, new songs on itunes are 256 kbps, and I think they have been bringing songs that have been on there awhile up to that level as well.

    That's good to know.. I thought I'd heard that before. I've done some testing and my ears can't really hear quality loss at anything above 192 kbps. I usually import everything on my computer at 256.

    itunes IS 256 now.

    Bingo. People keep talking about press releases... which ones? I see no sticky on the Porch here mentioning that you can download or buy the new single on Monday, no news lead on the website about it, all there is is a link to order the vinyl in the goods section. We get all our information secondhand from other news sources with none of the relevant stuff ever being confirmed (unless, of course, it's an offer to buy a $200 picture book).

    In Boston the radio stations websites are advertising they will be playing it tomorrow morning. I have not heard anything about when it will be released to the fans for purchase.

    I too am hoping for a 12:01am digital release, but I doubt that will happen. I'm guessing more like 9am or something. Although it would be fucking sweet to come home tonight from my STP concert to see The Fixer available for download! Come on dammit!
