Some love for 10C

Hey everyone. I'm not posting this just to kiss ass, I really want to see some appreciation here.

I've been reading a lot of threads here, people whinging about ticket allocations, lack of information, mailing costs, etc, etc.

Now, I'm not a 50000 post member of these boards but I have been reading and keeping up with the band for years on here (although with no work at the moment I'm on here far too much!). Anyway, it seems to me that we've got about the best fan club - and the closest and most polite community on the web - of any group on the planet.

So, can we forget about the minor gripes that we have and please all just give a +1 to show some love for what is pretty good quality for 20 dollars a year? You can lose yourselves in these boards if you like and I reckon that we could show our appreciation a little more often for the best band in the world and the best team around them. it's nice to be nice, so let's all say a big thank you, just for once.

    seriously, 30 views and only two people are happy enough to type two characters? that's a less than 10% satisfaction rate. I feel bad for 10C, I'm gonna give 'em another +1 because I'm a very happy customer!

    10club is great! And only 20 bux a year great deal.
    10club tickets are cheaper than ticketmaster too they don't hit you up with all those fees.

    I think the reason so many people are p*ssed off is bc we came so close to getting tix and then were shut out - the site crashing, the buy button not working etc. It would be one thing if we just missed out on tickets, but to spend 90 minutes in front of your computer clicking and hoping and refreshing and come away empty handed, it's disheartening and very frustrating.

    Seems like there's two kinds of people on the forums, the ones who got their tix so of course they think the system works just fine and are telling the rest of us to stop complaining, and the losers who tried so hard but got nothing.

    I sympathise. You know, I'll be staying about 2 miles away from Shepherds Bush all summer but don't even have ashot at tickets because my mailing address on 10C is not in England. I'm pissed off about it but these things happen. Tickets can be frustrating, I agree, but the rest of what we have here really makes 20 dollars a pretty good deal.

    You'd pay $5 for Deep and $5 for the Christmas vinyl in stores every year and the other $10 pays wages and runs a pretty decent site that helps keep the band and it's activities and music relevant and necessary.

    Also, I threw my turntable out back in the 90's, so the singles don't mean nothing to me,
    they're sitting in my closet. You want them, you can have them.

    -1. Ticket allocation needs major help. When Ticketmaster provides better service for Pearl Jam fans, you indeed have a problem. I can't believe I just typed that last sentence.

    I don't want to gripe on my own thread trying to give some love but I agree that tickets could be allocated better. Shephards Bush is only about 3000 tickets and every single one would have been snapped up by 10C members, I don't understand the need for the HMV thing.

    Still, I must say again that we don't know how lucky we are for everything else we have, compared to other fan clubs, and if they can solve the one percieved and very real problem with ticketing I think we'll be golden ;)

    My ten club number is #36XXX and have always had front row at every pj show, therefore I LOVE THE TEN CLUB!!!! :D

    very odd i have never had front row or even close and we joined the same year .. who do u know ??

    I think the Ten Club ticket allocation is SPOT ON! How could it get any better? They reserve the best seats in the house, give seniority treatment, and give everyone the opportunity to get rows 1-2 and 9-10. Pretty fantastic if you ask me. And that is a service you would NEVER get from TM.
