People were probably asking themselves this 9 years ago when binaural came out and we all know how that turned out. honestly, they will probably press a bunch and when those are gone, that's it. It's not like a CD's where they make a new batch every couple of months or so.
He who forgets will be destined to remember.

certainly limited is a relative term, but I suspect, like most other rock acts these days they will press enough vinyl in the first batch to satisfy most fans (i.e. you'll be able to walk in a vigin store and they'll have it in stock, etc.), at least for the immediate future after release. this is not ITTW.

Well since all pearl jam vinyls eventuly stop being printed weather there limited or not they end up being worth like 60-100 each or more...

    I can't believe I just spent 30$ of shipping for 2 vinyls!

    I'm pretty sure I won't regret it....

I don't profess to be in the freight forwarding business, nor have I ever complained about shipping costs on here before BUT 2 vinyls to Canada = $30.00? That can't be right - can it? Are there guarantees I won't get hit with customs on top (as has been the case before)? I think I'll call around some local record stores and see if I can preorder from them directly. I am sure there is a good and valid explanation for the charges, but I can't just throw money away nowadays. Can't wait for new PJ!

As for the "limited" nature of the pressing, I would guess the long preorder run is somewhat helpful in the band deciding how many to press (?) As always, it is a safe bet they'll appreciate in value amongst collectors in the coming years (we all had the same questions about ST).

I'm fully supportive of the band and all -- but if I was charged 30 bucks in shipping alone -- i'd go to the local indie joint or buy this off amazon. wowsaaaaaaaa

  • indeed as i just said in another post

    f@ck

    i tell you
its getting harder and harder for me in the UK to tell myself its justifiable ordering stuff from the tenclub direct anymore

I've always bought my albums from them direct if possible

but paying $30 dollars to get it all shipped is hard to console at the minute

after stumping up almost 60% of the cost of the ten deluxe edition in postage and charges i'm not sure my common sense or wallet can let me sleep easy on this.

This shouldn't be a problem. And in case you didn't know, I find that Criminal Records is always cheapest for new LPs by a few dollars at least.

Thanks - I will definitely given them a call. Toronto crew should try and place a bulk order.
