    Good things about credit cards v. debit card:

    1) If card stolen, your bank acct. cannot be drained;

    2) You can earn rewards using a card (if you have that). I might as well use the card, pay the card and get cash back!

    Many debit cards (all i think) come with a little visa or mastercard affiliation and can be used just like you would use a regular visa card.
