Planes are falling out of the sky!

Just read about the Yemeni plane crash into the Indian Ocean...
Is it me or are there an inordinate amount of plane crashes/incidents in the last 1.5 years?!?
As someone who is a frequent flier (fly usually at least once-twice a week) I never think about stuff like this but MAN it seem like every 2-3 weeks it's something!
(off the top of my head)
Continental plane skidding off the runway on take-off
US Air Hudson river landing
Colgan Air crash into a house in Buffalo
Air France into the Atlantic
Yemenia flight into the Indian Ocean (Air Bus A310)
...Billy Mays blown tire incident the night before he died...
The two other Airbus A330s on emergency landings since Air France
"Smoke in the cockpit" incidents twice in the last month or so with E-landings.
????

This will happen because air traffic is increasing....just like more cars on the road mean more crashes.
And the media tends to ride on type of story that will scare people for ratings. Flying is still the safest way to travel. This shit has been going on since the dawn of aviation, you're just hearing about it.
you think that bomb Ryan Howard hit the other day fell out the sky yet?
Interesting.
BUT - is it increasing proportional to the additional traffic?
EG: If there are 20% more planes now than 15 years ago, are there 20% more crashes to match, or is the crash incidents a higher proportion?

LOL!!!!
Heyo! Don't forget to tip your waiter.
shitty economy = lay offs... less maintenence, etc...?
i dno, just a thought.
Well it appears Air France (Airbus A330) and Yemeni Air (Airbus A310), which both crashed into the ocean were flying through bad storms.
The Hudson River crash (US Air- Airbus A320) was a fluke in that birds took out the engines.

Apparently the cab driver and passenger survived with serious head injuries, not sure how serious though. What are the chances of that Van getting clipped by the plane?
Another habit says its long overdue
Another habit like an unwanted friend
I'm so happy with my righteous self
That what I was thinking!! I would fucking freak!! Lol
But I'm not flying ANYA Asian airline! F that!
And yeah, that is some rotten luck for the people in the cab.
All those poor people. =( But congrats to the pilot for at least missing the buildings by what looks like 2 centimeters, and most of the highway.
