This was probably already discussed and the thread will drop like a led zeppelin, but...

What the F man?? All these years that tape was referred to as Mamasan, and with the re-issue we finally learn that it's called Momma-Son. What diehard PJ fan dropped the ball on this one!!! :D With the name Mamasan trilogy, I never even made the realization of the Mother-Son thing. I just thought it was some weird word. Who in their right mind spells momma as mama?

Anyone know who dropped the ball on this? Was it demitrios?

Go back and listen to Zurich '92. Many of us have known that for a very long time.

If you listen to how words sound, as well as to how they look, you won't be confused by things like this.

First time they played the trilogy live. Ed explained that it was a story of incest and murder. The third part (Footsteps) takes place in a jail cell.

It's a great show with a couple of really great improvs. I'm sure it can be found in the usual places.

This thread wasnt intented to show my stupidity, lol, it was to see if anyone knew why we called it Mamason instead of Momma-Son. I guess the person who originally leaked the songs wanted to switch things up a bit.

Also, if you look at the actual Momma-Son tape from the latest Deep magazine, you can see that the artwork is different than what we got... Also, you can see that Ed called himself "CRAZY EDDIE" and that his song "Homeless" was included on the tape.

I wasn't trying to make you feel stupid. I was actually trying to say that sometimes people just spell things in an unusual way to be creative, as a way to make the sounds stand out as opposed to correct spelling.

Ok, you guys were a little too slow in finding the answer so I took it upon myself to find it....

But the real treasure in this show is the first appearance of "the trilogy" (and titled by Ed, reason unknown, as 'Mamasan'):

It turns out to be some prick by the name of Ed who dropped the ball..... It wasn't demetrios afterall.

EDIT: Wait.... Mamasan???? I'm going to bed.....

Yeh Demetrios, this whole Mamasan thing really has my panties up in a bunch... and I'm a guy....

I even titled the thread wrong... comparing Mamasan to Momma-Son would of made this a more effective thread.

    Post away D!!

Hey Spark... thanks for the PM, your too nice man, haha, It's all good. But now should I have still known Mamasan meant Momma-Son? Mamasan is a weird little word, Latin wouldn't of even helped me there. :D

Mama doesn't equal Momma and San doesn't equal Son... ummm, I'm just gonna drop it... Ed's a dick..

JK Eddie, if you're reading this post (which you probably are.)
