Before a new album gets released what gets you most excited?

c) new interviews

Presuming you havent heard any of the songs? Do you soemtimes get a preconceived idea in your head of what the songs may sound like?

    I like to hear the details in the production end. Of course the music is why I purchase them. I like Brendans work so I am stoked.

    I love the word STOKED but its not used in the UK. I will start using it to see if I can get anyone else to use it lol

    Use it everyday. It will catch on. Let me know when you hear somebody else use it from the UK. I'll feel like I have accomplished something huge. Oh, and I'll definitely be STOKED.

    I get most excited about the pre-album single when it gets released. Then you know full-blown energy is about to unfold!

    the interviews are always great too... but the band always seems to say similar things about every album... and they start mentioning new albums like 2 years prior to the actual release so its hard to get too excited

    and theres no way to get any real feel for the albums based on tracklisting IMO

    Nice thread. I'd say tracklist and interviews that provide good descriptions of the new jams. Gets me pumped as hell every time...

    I love getting the first video of the band playing new songs in the studio or anywhere else for that matter.
