Rock/Jazz/Blues/Southern jam bands.

Really getting into this area of music. Listened to loads of The Allman Brothers Band and Gov't Muel. I'm checking out The Derek Trucker Band at the moment and im probably digging this the most so far!

I gave Phish and Grateful Dead a go, listened to quite a few albums but i didn't think much to them. Probably need to give a few more listens just like everything else need time. But the 3 bands i mentioned above i have instantly taken to after a first listen so hmm.

Wondered if anyone else likes this stuff and who your personal favourites etc.

    Tea Leaf Green

    listen to moe and TLG. For moe. start out with Wormwood. moe is a little southern rock sounding. For Tea Leaf Green try their first 3 albums (especially their first). TLG is sort of a a more chill version of phish. I can never find any TLG at the stores so youll probably have to find a torrent.

    Give Widespread Panic a try, esp. Space Wrangler.

    Widespread Panic would be my suggestion too.

    If you want to move away from the jam bands a little i would give Drive By Truckers a shot. Particularly their album Dirty South.
