In 4 days we will hear a new LP song for the first time in over three years. As Pearl Jam fanatics, these are the moments we wait for, long for. It's a big payoff - and we deserve it.

I hope the new songs, record are objectively the best work of their career. I'd nearly die for another ground breaking album, a masterpiece, that affects the masses. Maybe wishful thinking, but anything is possible, particularly with the return of producer Brendan O'Brien.

Also, if any band deserves to have a successful record, it's Pearl Jam. Poor guys have been through a lot of shit together but have stuck with one another. I hope they make a shit ton of money - they've never sold themselves out to get rich, and I never expect them to. After reading the Stone & Jeff conversation within Deep Magazine, it's clear the goal for these individuals is genuine happiness, and not genuine wealth. Still, I hope they make a shit ton of money.

Bring us a masterpiece.

    well by today's standards, every new green day album is a masterpiece. i think it'll be a solid effort with better results than the last one. i loved the last one but i think that with obrien (brendan that is) behind the helm it'll be better. anyone else psyched to hear new tunes LIVE!!
