currently reading nothing.
my favorite current writers include fabian nicieza, dna, ed brubaker and peter david.
was into nova & guardians of the galaxy big time, but i haven't read much since secret invasion began. i also regularly read captain america, x-factor, daredevil and hulk (until the end of wwh). obviously i'm a marvel fanboy. i'm on hiatus from reading comics, as i felt it was taking up way too much of my time and thought capacity. i'll play catch-up eventually though, and be the biggest geek ever.0

I'm a big X-Men fan. I don't really have a favourite write, But I really enjoyed Joss Whedons series of 'Astonishing'. To be honest I never pay attention to the names much. I guess I should. I recently started reading Lucifer and Judge Dredd though. Very different obviously, but both are very good. Next on my list is to go back and read Sandman by Gaiman.I'll Ride The Wave Where It Takes Me0

Some of my favs too...also add Grant Morrison to the list. Unfortunately, I quit reading comics cold turkey about 6-7 years ago bc I was spending $60-$80 per week on my books! Since I don't have the ability to cut back, I had to cut out. Sad really, because so much of what I was buying was fluff...variants, one-shots, minis...that all sucked ass anyway. If only I could control myself, I could've cut my expense in half and I'd still be enjoying some great reads! To go back now would be like opening a pandoras box to buying EVERY back-issue of everything I missed out on. Shawn Smith / Brad / All Hail the Crown / Satchel Shawn Smith / Brad / All Hail the Crown / Satchel

Never heard of them, I'll look into them. I know he did Hellblazer (the series that inspired the movie Constantine) and want to check that out too. Something about those Irish authors... so much piss and vinegar, I love it!0

Alan Moore actually created the Constantine character back during his run on Swamp-Thing, but yes...Garth has a noted run on the character's actual series.....here's some info on the War Stories:soulsinging wrote:tybird wrote:
