Songs hijacked by film...

I'm bored. Looking for songs that were 'popular' before being used in a movie that you now immediately associate with the movie when you hear them. If this has been done before, I apologize in advance. Here are mine.

Stuck in the Middle With You, Stealers Wheel - Reservoir Dogs, Mr. Blonde cutting the cops ear off.
Layla, Eric Clapton - Goodfellas, Carbone and others from the crew turn up dead.
All Star, Smash Mouth - Shrek, opening montage.
Candy Girl, New Edition - DOGMA, Selma Hayek at the bar.
I can't teach common sense.

Hurdy Gurdy Man, by Donovan. Super cool song. It played at the end of 'Zodiac' during the credits. That's all for now.

The Layla example was the first one that came to my mind when reading this thread title....
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.

Pretty much every song used in Dazed and Confused... the 'Sweet Emotion' with the ride into the parking lot, 'No More Mr Nice Guy' during the freshman initiation, 'Hurricane' playing during the stroll into the Emporium...

    agreed.

    also:
dust in the wind by kansas, and total eclipse of the heart by bonnie tyler were both spoofed in old school, and i'll forever associate both with that classic film
slow ride by foghat is also a good one that reminds me of dazed & confused.

LETS TURN THIS INTO A GUESS WHAT MOVIE THIS SONG BELONGS TO THREAD! ...more fun!

(except for songs written for a movie, like Man Of The Hour)

    I'll start...

    "Oh, Yeah" by Yello.

...and there's two acceptable movies that you can say it's from, one is much more popular though.

    P.S.
you know the song - it's exactly this:
bow bow, chick, chick-ah chick-ahh. bow bow, chick, chick-ah chick-ahh.
ADD 5,200 to the post count you see, thank you. :)

let's see who gets this one.

hint: the song is not actually heard in this film.

    "Berserker"

My love for you is like a truck, Berserker
Would you like some making f***, Berserker
My love for you is like a rock, Berserker

The Berserker is just so obscene
Likes evil people you know what I mean
He takes your soul and then just rips you apart
    He'll steal your heart

Would you like to smoke some pot, Berserker
My love for you is ticking clock, Berserker
Would you like to s*** my c***, Berserker
Would you like some making f***, Berserker
