So today for the third time since he started almost a year ago this total fucker has questioned if I am gay, but in an indirect way.
Sends me a porno via email and when I delete it he asks is it because people were behind you or because it was a girl?
Going back a few months ago at a farewell drinks at the pub for a girl that left, he asked me in front of a few work colleagues if I like guys or chicks.
Then not long ago at the printer asked me indirectly.
So I guess if you are single, don't look at porn emails that get sent at work because you would rather focus on work and not getting busted looking at it you are gay? :?

So then I lost my temper today and called him to come with me for a one on one chat and it made a scene and people noticed.
Told the fucker that I am not stupid and to not ask me again seeing I've answered him that I am into chicks three times now. The dick completely backed off and was startled.

Then I reported him to the HR lady.
They are going to come down hard on him, they probably already have.
Don't you just wish you could punch some people at work?

Once again a vent thread, I've had a shit day. :evil:

I'm so sorry you had to deal with such an asshole. I hope he gets exactly what he deserves. It's obvious that this was pure harassment. :evil: I truly believe what goes around comes around, and he will pay for everything that he said...

Unfortunately no matter where you work there is going to be at least one asshole there...

I was so offended by his actions per your description that I was not able to read the rest of your post. Firstly, this is SEXUAL fucking harrassment of the highest order! And it is Sexual discrimination too. you need to find out exactly what HR is going to do to rectify this situation immediately because this is a hostile situation, regardless if this asshole is a homophobic creep, or is actually trying to get you to go out on a date with him. I shudder at either thought.

Also, I would consider contacting a lawyer to determine if you have a lawsuit against this creep, he's an asshole and he is harrassing you. If you were a woman, or a person of color, or a religious minority, this shit would not be tolerated! Protect yourself now and do whatever you can to get this asshole to stay away from you.

I got called to speak to the big boss today, he told me he can't sort out everything and wants us to do it ourselves. He sounds like he was more concerned about porn being emailed. Then he said he asked that idiot to apologize to me. So he wanted to go outside in front of our managers window and he gave the insincere of sorry's.
And he said I was making assumptions and that he was referring to something else, it was very quick and over withing 20 seconds. F'ing bullshit is what it was. His defense/story does not add up, he is full of shit and he knows it. Then during my departments meeting today I busted him giving me mean stares a few times.
F'ing dog.

Basically the big boss said if there are no witnesses they can't do much other than warn the people.
And he said no hostility in the office, if we want to fight at the pub we can.
I'd like to break this guys nose but an assault charge/conviction is not worth it, I know he is shit on a stick and if I wanted to I'd destroy him.
But it looks like it will stop from now on after the managers having a word to him.

Whitepants, lawyers are too expensive and it is not worth it, unless it gets really ugly.
But then again, no witnesses no case right?

The best way to deal with people like that is to ignore them, it only gives them more fuel if you retaliate.

I'm pretty sure your boss is wrong or lying... it certainly IS harrassment and/or bullying and there IS plenty more your boss could be doing. I wouldn't go so far as to go getting a lawyer... honestly, I know it's not nice and he sounds like a dick but it sounds like office slagging gone too far. Are you seriously contemplating getting a lawyer? If you note times and dates it's your word against his and no witnesses should be needed. But that's not a route you wanna go down. You said he's said it INDIRECTLY a few times? I'm sorry but I really think you're overreacting... it's one thing to report him to HR but another to start talking about lawyers and witnesses. I'm sorry but I just love office slagging... but I only do it to people who I know can take it and who slag me too... if I don't know somebody too well, I don't, but some people don't understand boundaries.

Absolutely! I've been accused of all kindsa things in the workplace but I just throw something else back at them. But I know people are all different but that makes it fun... rather than becoming a victim or having to contemplate getting another job, you actually get one over on them and make them look like a fool... but cos they started it, they only have themselves to blame.

your manager and hr manager sound very Inexperienced at their job or are just too weak
to deal with the issue at hand.
Sending you an e-mail of this nature is in most companies gross misconduct and immediately would be a dismissal. The fact that you have complained also about harrasment from the same individual
should just cement this issue in their minds and is only more ammo should he try to appeal the decision.
We all tolerate all levels of having fun poked at us as well as dishing it out but you have already told this twat
to stop which he has not.

Have you an employee handbook or have you company polices etc saved on a network at work?
If so this fuckstick is in breach of a few of them,you should find out.

Also you should note everything...dates/comments/responses you made/hr feedback/managers feedback.
You may need it in the future,

You should not be feel like you have to give up a job over a bully at work..
