OK, 99.9% 10 Club, I stand corrected.
This is virtually an all 10C show -- why are people upset about this? :?: It is going to be amazing :?: ! :!: Can we just try to be grateful and enjoy?
who is upset?
everyone is excited about these shows, its just kinda crazy on your end to try and hype this show up posting stuff of which you have no proof off, i think that's the beef most have with you no one is being negative about the show."Without the album covers, where do you clean your pot?" - EV0 -

You took the words out of my mouth...
I have actually never been as excited for Chicago PJ shows (aside from the whole Vic thing, but that was very last minuet) just because it feels somewhat 'special' to get these shows in what is not really a big tour. I can't wait.
But I also know I'm not getting 40+ song sets with an opening band Wilco who is apparently going to magically beam in from Europe to Chicago and back again.

Ass kissing won't get u any closer then u already. Its shit threads like this and the offical petition for ed to wear hot pants make me wonder how many oddballs we have on here. These shows won't be anymore different then others and ever show is legendary show to each person that's there.Ron: I just don't feel like going out tonight

Mrs.Vedder78 wrote:I do agree with what many have suggested though, that there seems to be more 10C seats this time around compared to last tour.
I suspect that the reason for this is because it seems like (in my opinion) Ten Club has relaxed its standards regarding seating that is acceptable to offer to members. As a result, Ten Club probably has more tickets available than in years past.
Prior to the recent Ten Club presales for the upcoming shows, I never recall seeing "newer members should not expect prime seat locations" in any ticketing annoucements."I'll end up alone like I began..."

I just went on TM and for the 1st show, the closest I could find was sect. 310.
The 2nd show was sect. 333!
Seems like the average non-10clubber is going to need Kleenex for their nosebleeds!0 -

I thought that was more for the people that had just registered to buy tickets.
I think in the past had they been able to get more tickets they would have, so it does appear they've been able to get more tickets. I think now that they've gotten more of an allocation they also are putting that warning because being member #180,000 with 10% of tickets will be a lot closer than member #180,000 with 30%, etc.0 -

Yep, you're right... it simply must be 99.9% Ten Club seating... give me a break - it's pretty clear that you are talking directly out of your ass. Care to stop distributing false information? I don't really care, Im just happy to go, I just dont want to be too too far away? if I am on the back of the floor, is that an awful place to be? i just want to know that wherever I am, I can see good and be in the lower level at least. anyone have any positive thoughts for me?
don't even try to figure it out, just wait till you get to will call and see what you get.
it is anyone's guess
you have a better number then me (thanks to letting my memberships lapse several times) however I have never been disappointed with my tickets. Usually I am on the side of stage with a great few........
but if I had to guess you will be in the 100 section on either side of the stage**CUBS GO ALL THE WAY IN......never **0 -
People these shows are going to be amazing . . . it will be my 15th and 16th time seeing the full band . . . I am very excited and not trying to "hype" the shows. Pearl Jam needs no hype. They are the 800 pound gorilla of all rock bands and every city they stop in shuts down in their honor when they come to town, no hype needed. I don't mean to upset anybody with this thread, I just feel the need to express my unbridled enthusiasm for the upcoming rapture, two nights in the great city of Chicago for all 10C shows, a dream come true!
40 songs minimum per night and 10 years from now there will be threads on this board about the greatest stand in band history!
:P
TAKE IT TO THE BANK! THIS IS GOING TO BE AMAZING AND HEARING GRIEVANCE, BU$HLEAGUER, ALL OR NONE AND RIVAL IN THE WINDY CITY IS SOMETHING I HAVE DREAMED OF AND NOW THE DREAM IS COMING THROUGH! THANK YOU 10C!

If you have a question about how many tc seats there are for the chicago shows all you have to do is go on stub hub. They have all the sections they have tic for. They have no tic for the sides or floor on the lower level and the 200 club level directly next to the stage (besides 4 people who are trying to sell their tc pairs on the floor). Just like the tc promised. The best seats in the house. Seems like a little more than normal but by no means a tc only show.
There also was some question about tm not giving up their usual amount of tic for the band 10 to 15per. Tickets were 66.00$ on tm before all the charges which came out to 83.29$. If I remember right the tc seats were always the exact price without all the charges so they should have been 66$ exact. The tc seats were 74$ a tic for this show. I am thinking the band worked out this extra charge per tic to secure extra tc seats. Not sure if tm would do something like this but maybe they cut a deal for the extra 8$ a tic as they would not have to deal with any of the processing.
Just a thought0 -
I have been debating this in my mind...where are my seats going to be....well I finally figured out it does not matter...Juat to be there is enough. No this is not an all 10c show. The rumor mill needs to stop. Just be happy you have tix and going to see something special. This is Not For You0

I hate to seem like that "always-negative" guy, but this same guy has started 5 threads about the Chicago shows, that he has it "on good authority" that they will play certain songs, and now this BS thread. I'm kind of intrigued as to what his motive is...just boredom?
I dont think anyone buys it. If you're going to lie make it at least believable. Maybe say they've got a longer curfew or something... don't post songs they'll play and that it will be 40+ songs!
Either way - one thing I do hate to agree with you on is that Chicago shows have much 'safer' setlists. I'm hoping this time might be a different situation with no album to promote (assuming the new album isn't out by then which is looking about right)... so hopefully over two nights they can pull out some good stuff.
Yep, Chicago shows are usually safe..BUT..doesn't anyone remember Crown of Thorns? In '06 I think...we've got a pretty good shot at some rarities I think.
