Did anyone else see Pearl Jam's ILike section on facebook that they have a show listed for the Comcast Center August 3rd? The source is stated as Live Nation but nothing is listed on their site yet. Looks like a small warm up prior to the Europe shows.
I'm hoping for the highly demanded final Spectrum show!

I saw this in another thread...it guess it is a mistake...it is actually Coldplay playing at the Comcast Center that night...Looks like PJ is skipping Boston this year.

Things are looking good for you since they already confirmed that they are going to play the west coast. Well I only live 10 minutes from the Comcast Center. I'm the town next to Mansfield so I was praying to god for a date. Looks like nothing. I'm surprised to...they LOVE it there.2006/05/25 - Boston

08 it took them less then a month to do their East Coast Tour.

True!! They love to play the Boston area. It is a real shame if they skip us this year. If those rumored Philly dates turn out to be true maybe they will swing up here for a show or two at the Boston Garden? Yea, if they do play the Boston area anytime after or during Oct they would in all likelihood play the TD North Bank Garden. If the Mansfield Comacast Center didnt have the STRICTLY ENFORCED curfew, I would rather see the show there. But that along with the tailgating laws make that place suck. I agree. I was born and still live in western Mass. It would be great if they made some kinda appearance. I was really into PJ in 1994 and since the Jeremy video, but I was still in high school. I remember when they played in Springfield in 94. I couldnt go because I was too young. I may not even of had a license at the time. Plus I had no money.
God I really wish I could have went to that show. It was a good show, they played Out Of My Mind that night and My Generation. One of my friends at the time who didnt even like Pearl Jam ended up going. What a waste of a ticket that was because I remembering him saying Pearl Jam sucked all the time. Yet he went to the show and after show he said that PJ was the worst band. I have no issue if someone doesnt like PJ, thats there choice and opinion, but he used to always fuck with me by saying they sucked. God I really wanted to kick his ass!
I also remember missing out on Hartford 96 too because I was in school and had no money. And again, another one of my good friends that is only a casual fan ended up going because somebody gave him a ticket. I had no problem with him going becasue he actually liked PJ. i was just tremendously heartbroken that I couldnt go.
Since I missed those 2 shows, It wasnt until Hartford 98 followed by MSG 2 98 that i finally got to see them. Well worth the wait. I was blown away.
Anyone else from western/central or eastern Mass remember the rumors of them possibly playing an airport in Orange, MA around 1995? But it never happened. I remember that rumor about them playing an airport. I could not remember which town but I'm sure your right that it was Orange. I missed out on all their 90's shows because I was a poor high school student and then a poor college student and could not afford to attend any concerts during that time. I wanted to see Pearl Jam at the Boston Garden in 1994 in the worst way but no money and my parents would not let me go to Boston anyways to see a rock band.
