Where to study abroad? Berlin?

Right now I think I have things narrowed down to either barcelona or berlin, but the more i read about barcelona the more intimidating it seems considering i dont speak spanish. Ive read that germans speak at least a little english. Anyone have any input?

AFAIK and from experience, Germans have much more English than Spanish do. I've been to Berlin and it's awesome there. I've only a few words of German, but I've never had a problem communicating with Germans there as any of the ones I've spoken to are pretty much fluent in English. They can even hold up a great conversation while drunk ;)
