Got a new car on Saturday...Monday I was rear-ended !!!

I called the insurance company to add the new car and to put a claim in at the same time :(

I got an estimate already for $642..just waiting for the Insurance Adjuster to call
My drinking team has a hockey problem

The ONLY thing better than a glass of beer is tea with Miss McGill

    Were you driving an uninsured car? Glad you're ok, but, that's really a bad move if you were.

    Even so, shouldn't the other person have to pay? They rear ended you. Or, can you not report it as you were driving an uninsured car?

    Yeah...it was insured when I got hit

    The dealership took care of it Saturday

    Of course I didn't have a new card or anything to show the cop

    My Father-in-Law said "If you go to the Dr.'s today and complain of back pain..you're probably guaranteed a $10,000 pay out." :lol:

    I'm gonna go through my insurance first then get reimbursed my deductible through the other drivers insurance

    I was so mad/frustrated when I got out of the car ! "I just got this fuckin car on Saturday..it's Brand new!"

    The woman was a little scared :(

    That sucks! :evil: I'm sorry that happened. Must be something in the air around here...I got a new car on a Saturday and was rear ended on Friday :evil: Fortunately it was just a little scratch that no one else can see...BUT I KNOW IT'S THERE!!! :x :oops:

    The first car I'm actually financing to buy and it gets nailed ! :cry:

    I hate scratches and dings..I always know they're there and cringe looking at them

    Thanks...I have the insurance adjuster coming to my work for the estimate tomorrow..just want to get it fixed

    Depending on what state you are in, you can get a $500 mini-torte from the other party's insurance to cover your deductable. I just went through this. Actually, it happened in Dec. and in March. Got the $500 each time. I'm in michigan.

    You would be correct !

    That's what my insurance told me..pay it up front and then get reimbursed by her insurance

    I have a $30 a day allowance I guess you can call it for a rental car while my car is being worked on..I might just have my buddy pick me up and car pool for a few days to work

    I didn't have to pay anything upfront. I didn't have collision insurance, so I just got the money to do what I wanted with. I can't believe it happened to me twice over a few months, but whatever.
