ACL Festival - Heads up - sell out coming quick

Howdy

So just FYI, my wife’s friend, who's a super user on the ACL message board, said one of the message board administrators told her that ACL is pretty close to selling out. I don' t know if it's true (her insider info is about 80/20 as far as accuracy), or how close is close, but I just wanted to give the heads up.

    Pearl Jam aside, I think that sunday lineup kills all the other days. With saturday being pretty terrible.

    I'm not going to the festival but I checked out the lineup and I can't believe how awful Saturday looks.

    Completely selling out? Or three-day pass selling out and now time to sell the single-day passes? I would be surprised if they sold the entire event out with three-day passes.

    It had to have. They never sell out of 3 day passes this early. Usually not till about August.

    This is the day I've been waiting for! Glad I caught the e-mail about single-day tickets going on sell. I've always gone to ACL for the whole 3 days previously, but I've been waiting to buy single-day tickets this year so I can catch PJ if they play other Texas shows on Friday or Saturday night.

    Plus, by far Sunday is the best day of the lineup. Ben Harper, Sonic Youth, Toadies, Arctic Monkeys, The Dead Weather, PLUS Pearl Jam is gonna be sweet.

    Hurry up and buy your Sunday single-day passes. I just got mine minutes ago. They probably won't last long.

    Same here! I've never seen them sell out this early.

    There are always people selling them outside the gates that weekend and there will be people on Craigslist who decide they can't go, etc. I was waiting because my husband keeps saying he only wants to go on Sunday this year. I guess he decided for us! :lol:

    Thasks! I was wrestling with the 10c site today getting Chicago tickets that I totally forgot about ACL.

    How ironic would it be for someone who has bitched for 6 years about Texas shows get shut out of one because he was buying Chicago tickets??

    I sent Speedy a text. Hopefully he'll get it.
