What is this song?

It came out in like the mid 90's and played on the alternative rock stations. Definitely a British singer, and the closest I can come to the chorus is "brim full of rasher on the 45". Something like that. Anyone? I heard it on the radio yesterday and it's killing me trying to remember the band and song names.
