college shows

I am listening to the South Carolina show from this tour and I'm not sure what people are talking about. It sounds great especially WMA and Present Tense. Just an observation and I don't have tons to base it on but does it seem like when Pearl Jam plays at a college arena such as South Carolina or State College for example they seem to put on a great show. I don't know if its a coincidence or not. I realize too that the colleges are out for the summer so maybe the South Carolina wasn't full of college students. Just sayin.

    dont forget champaign '03! good observation though... maybe its cause PJ hits up the campus bars before the show :D

    Might be something there...

    I saw them in '03 at Penn State's Bryce Jordan Center. They ended up doing a 3 1/2 hour show (36 some songs I believe). Best show I've been at.

    That State College Show was outstanding. I graduated I guess a year earlier and went up to visit some friends. What a great time!! Now we just need to get JoePa out ( I love the man) and Schiano in and we'll be back on the map. By the way brother we gotta get you out of the Philly Camden area to see some shows.
