What is this "market" i keep hearing about?
Im staying at the Grand Hyatt in downtown and my only plans are dinner at spaceneedle and baseball game on the other night.
Is it worth visiting the Ames shop?
Anyone have a link to other threads where people list where to hit up in seattle?

I would skip having dinner at the needle...although if it's nice it's worth going to the top just once. pm me if you want restaurant recommendations. you should spend half a day checking out pike's market though as it's definitely a great place to check out.0

The Dahlia Lounge is good for dinner.NERDS!0

the food at the needle is not that great...and it is WAY overpriced. every entree has the price of going up the needle added...so you dont get the trip up for free. it is a cool view from the top, so just buy a regular ticket and go up...and then go somewhere else for dinner.0

You should have made your trip for May so you could have seen Mike McCready at the Showbox."I'll ride the wave where it takes me.."0

Every time, without fail...
Just use the term "Pike Place Market" and you'll be fine...lots of fresh fish/veggies/flowers/etc. Do NOT say "Pikes Place" - there is no such location in Seattle
