the lineup is pretty weak, i figure i can go to 3 or more pj shows with the money it would cost to buy a festival ticket...so i'll wait and see how the tour shapes up. definitely hoping for a couple of two night stands to trek toi have a paper here that entitles me to fast track status0

Single day tickets to Outside Lands will be roughly $90. That's what they were last year. If you think you can attend 3 PJ shows for that amount your kidding yourself. Some fans are going to be in for a rude awakening when they see ticket prices for the fall tour. Just look at Ed solo prices. I'm guessing $160 a pair for the average PJ show in 2009.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

But, but, in 1955 ticket prices were $1!!!
They sold out man
I'm SOOOO excited for Outside Lands. I bought my 3 day ticket this morning. I don't think the line-up is weak at all!! I don't really go to festivals because it is rare for me to find one with more than a couple acts that I liked. But I'm so stoked!!!

That exactly what i thought. The lineup pretty weak. Would rather save my 3 day pass jam & flight coast from here to Cali to catch a few back to back to back .. to back Pearl Jam show's closer to home! 8-)
If I did live in the West Coast, I would just buy that one day pass to see Pearl Jam. Nothing more!0 -

I'm with you .... the line up is fantastic, maybe the best festival lineup out there for 2009 (for my taste) ... certainly better than Coachella. It's the non headliners that make this a great festival, thus, I got my 3 days passes this morning as well.

I'd prefer a PJ only show as much as the next fan. But Outside Lands will be fun. We get to see them play a festival which is pretty rare for the States. I've seen them 24 times and this will be the first festival. Plus it's the site of the infamous 06/24/95 show. It would be cool if they opened with the same 7 songs as 1995 show before Ed got sick. Then they could start mixing in newer stuff and finish with RITFW. Neil would make a surprise appearance and join them on stage. I can already visualize it.06/22/95, 11/04/95, 11/15/97, 07/16/98, 10/30/99, 10/30/00, 10/31/00, 10/20/01, 10/21/01, 12/08/02, 06/01/03, 06/06/03, 10/25/03, 10/26/03, 09/28/04, 03/18/05, 09/01/05, 07/15/06, 07/16/06, 07/18/06, 07/22/06, 07/23/06, 10/21/06, 10/22/06, 08/28/09, 09/21/09, 09/22/09, 05/20/10, 05/21/10, 10/24/10, 11/26/13, 12/06/13, 06/28/14, 10/26/14, 07/10/18, 08/10/18, 10/02/21,0

i totally agree. the non headliners are what make a good festival lineup! other than PJ the only reason I'm plunking down the bucks for it are for bands like Silversun Pickups, Band of Horses, Robert Johnson, etc. I think it's a pretty stellar undercar0 -

My wife is so awsome. When I got home I saw the ticket confirmation email sitting on the desk waiting for me when I got home.
Like others have said The supporting acts were the make or break for me. I have always wanted to see Band of Horses, Mastodon, MIA, DeerHunter. Oh and those guys from Seattle .. Pearl Jam I think, they might be worth it as well.

Bought my 3-day pass this morning too. Can't wait! I really only needed to see 2 words in that line-up and the bonus is I too think the line-up is awesome! Hell, I bought the Lolla 07 3-day pass before any artists (aside from PJ) were announced. I'm so excited for summer, I love all the festivals that happen all over the country

apparently, jimed14 is scared. So, we will just keep a spot for him at the front row (NOT!)
Well, for those of you who just take things way too literally, by saying 5AM, I was just implying as early as possible
We're good now?
