    Did I say I was in trouble?

    Throw in a PJ hubby... you are talking double trouble!!

    I am having a blast time with him coming up with ideas of how to make this work... we're even thinking about Memphis too!

    I'm working on all the options and then we'll decide which is the best way to do this! Then I got to work on my graduation "present".

    I thought I'd be in trouble when he got home and I told him my ideas.... boy, I thought I was bad! He threw in a lot of ideas! :D:D:D I just realized we have earned thousands thousands points from our banking account that I have never bothered to redeem.... :twisted: That can be used towards the travel expenses...

    We'll make a decision by tomorrow morning...we have to focus on other things tomorrow so we are going to be up all night talking about this!

    1 show only in Nashville? Two possible shows in Memphis? OR all three?

    Fly to Nashville, tour the city, then go home....

    Or fly in Nashville early Thurs morning....short tour.... go to the show...then drive to Memphis where my family live, stay and visit till the show(s)! Fly back home from there.... :D

    Gonna be a fun night!

    Only one. Which I think is a good thing. I assume the idea is to let home town people (or people closest to a show) have a crack at it and not miss out because of the people who travel the country and go to several shows.

    Glad to know I'm not alone! It's not fun when two start disagreeing... ha.

    After scribbling about 12 pages... it looks like Nashville is the most "affordable" one. ;) Bobby really wanted to do Memphis because of two shows...but too expensive, unfortunately. It seems Memphis is more expensive than Nashville. :P (one factor is the weekend flight costs).

    I really wish we had more time to rent a car to drive instead of flying so we could also do Memphis and visit my family in Memphis...but it's just too long of a drive and we'd have to do it again in July when we drive to Tennessee for a family vacation.

    But I realized I got too excited to the point where I got greedy and went overboard. ;)

    One show will do. :) And we're going to fly there... get there on Wed so we can enjoy the city and go home Friday morning.

    That is...if I won the lottery. :)

    It has been fun but I'm worn out! I'm ready just to wait and see what happens on Monday when 10c announces whether I've secured the tickets or not.

    If not... then oh well. Can't say I didn't try! :D

    I think they have MORE than listened to all complaints/whining on this board. Tix not available to non-residents... try to remember all these threads during the last tour about that.... Ed's gigs are small ones and I'm thinking if Ed does come to this side of the pond, it will be the same.

    ALL these changes to ticket purchase and all is in direct response to 'suggestions' that were made on the board. As for the timing.... I'm sure they don't 'hold back' on purpose. They announce when things are confirmed, like any other band. If your life is to "follow the band or the solo tours beyond our cities, countries and continents" then I guess you 'need' to make yourself available and have some 'PJ' funds in the bank already. The majority will attend a gig or two and plenty of time is given for that.

    I agree I think 10c has done very well with the new ticketing system and it definetly is more fair

    It just takes the piss so much, its like if you are not American they dont give a shit about you. I wasnt expecting a tour over here but it would be nice to be given the opportunity to buy tickets. We pay more for international membership but get less for it.

    You know what guys.... just revoke your membership and find yourself another band. Constructive criticism is good and needed, but this, once again, is just being flippant. Once or twice.. fine but constantly?

    We don't know what is in store for future dates (EV or PJ) so putting stupid words in his/10C's mouth is just plain silly.

    I equate this to a good number of companies who will not ship goods outside the US/Europe/etc.

    I do understand the frustration but there are ways of expressing things and I feel a lot of the comments are getting just too flippant. These tix are also a lottery, so there will be lots of disappointment in the next couple of days. There is still ticketmaster - anyone can have a go there.
