Right there with you. If they don't play ACL this year then I totally give up on them or Ed ever playing Texas again.DAL-7/5/98,10/17/00,6/9/03,11/15/13

It's not a PJ show. I'm sure that won't be the case when PJ tour. Really this gives more members a chance at getting in to a show in their home town. And it changes up who Ed is playing to up front every night which I'm sure he appreciatesSam0 -

Maybe they'll use this method to gauge demand and try and secure more seats per venue for 10C tickets?? Just a thought. Maybe we should wait and see the % of people that don't/do get selected - It could beat the trauma of everyone trying to secure tickets all at the same time with the site crashing constantly.....2006 - Dublin, Reading; 2007 - London, Copenhagen; 2008 - MSG; 2009 - SBE, Manchester, London; 2010 - Dublin, Belfast, London; 2012 - Manchester, Berlin; 2014 - Amsterdam, Milton Keynes; 2018 - London; 2022 - London; 2024 - Manchester0 -

Personally I think the idea of limiting the tickets of 1 show per member for the EV gigs, which are much more exclusive with much fewer available tickets, is a very good one. It guarantees more individuals will be able to see Ed live through the presale. People can still try to get more than one show in via other ticket sellers.
It's nothing like the PJ shows where a lot more tickets are allocated to 10c.http://www.wishlistfoundation.org

And if you think about, the old way of doing the presales was never guaranteed either. The presales would sell out immediately, the site would crash, people would be freaking out, etc. I understand not wanting to "wait and see" but it is a LOT less stressful this way.Sam0 -
Hopefully after this round of solo shows all EV bootlegs will be released0

I don't like the look of any of these "changes".
These prices are to steep for many of us in this economy when so many of us are hardly making it when it comes to paying normal living expenses.
The new rules sound to much like other bands instead of Pearl Jam's hopefully these rules are just for the Ed solo shows. I am kinda suprised Ed thinks these prices are okay. Ed don't you remember when you were poor and just barely making it ?
I just don't know anymore..............0 -
Um... I must say I'm pretty bummed. No PJ? Trust me, I want to name my first born after Eddie but this is a drag. Still, Aug/Sept are wide open for a tour! Maybe Eddie ends in HI, hangs there for a month and they tour. I'm just really hoping for PJ to play at the Comcast Center in Mansfield MA rather than the Boston Garden. They are INSANE in open-air venues.
Pretty please come here in August!!0 -
BTW, I guess since this thread is titled "Tweet, tweet, tweet" it DID go up on Twitter too

Please don't complain Jammers! They can't make everyone happy. They can't tour everywhere. They have fans everywhere so no matter what they do, there are going to be disappointed fans. I'm pretty confident that Pearl Jam will tour later this year. I will wait for that!tammymarie67

I put in for a chance at Memphis. My husband and I would have a fun little road trip down there. I hope I get in. I'd love to go to PJ in the fall, but I'm pregnant and due in September and that might be a little rough.0
