Black Live from unplugged = best version?

Best version EVER??

I haven't heard this version in years and Wow how good does Eddies Voice sound?
I especially like the funked up "I take a walk outside, im surronded by some kids at play"

And three little words to top it off: "we belong together"
Take me for a ride before we leave...

    the tag at the end of the song and the emotion that he put into that version is tough to beat

    Black has always been a really emotional song for me. Been listening to PJ ever since they rocked Cincinnati in '92 at Lollapalooza. Never heard of them before that day. I have the habit of singing the "we belong, we belong together" tag into any live version of black because once it was put into the song, it has so much more meaning to me with that line in there, that I can't do that song without adding that part. Now it sounds like Black is incomplete without it.

    Unplugged and FOX ATLANTA 94 are the best versions of BLACK hands down.

    That actually ranks 2nd best version for me :)

    the performance from Hawaii on 9.26.1992 would be my fav.. it has the similar "emotional" part towards the end ala Unplugged, but this version is electric, and Dave A's drumming on it, pushes the emotional level more in this particular version imo.

    It's my favourite version too, I wish Ed would still sing the "I take a walk outside, I'm surrounded by some kids at play" part the same way.

    The Tower Records instore performance version is a very close second by the way

    it's always been one of my faves as well... it used to get my highschool girlfriend totally hot so that's a good thing!!

    As far as powerful versions and amazing tags, Black MTV Unplugged is up there along with Ottawa 05. Both tags stir up a lot of emotion!!

    I am a huge fan of Black from 2003 tour, when Eddie holds the Be for 17 seconds. I think the one from Live at the Garden is the best.
