Paid Members?

So I contacted three people who all had join dates in late 1998 and early 1999. (That is my original join date as well)
All of those people had 182XXX-184XXX. So there is definitely some merit to the idea that some people were put into to that active 10 club list when they first joined prior to 2003.
So some of those orignial show the proper join date, while others show the join date corresponding with the older boards.
You would have to do some serious sluething around to come up with some answers and navagating that list is a nightmare. (thus not worth is IMO)
But I think it is safe to say that 48,000 is the correct number of current members.0 -

Perhaps there a members who never use the internet and thus have never signed in online, but have active memberships through the mail.
Would they have a default user account or not?
That could tell a part of the story/Help in figuring out if that is an accurate number.
If there are members that have never signed in online, that means they have never bought tickets through the Ten Club. Which kinda means they don't affect our member numbers, at least as far as concert seating is concerned.
I am pretty sure you could get your pair of 10c by snail mail in 2000, and definitely before.0 -
i wonder how many fan club members other bands have? is 48,000 a small amount?
anyway to find that out?www.myspace.com0 -
You are correct.
If you scroll your mouse over your user name it tells you what number you are in relation to joining the old board. For example, I'm 392 and you're 31,016 which just means that I signed up the day the old board opened 8/28/03 and you joined three years later.

You can see where user names started coming in on that date - pretty much anything prior with a few exceptions are just a combo of letters and numbers.
So you really can't determine seniority at all from the member list on here. But it is interesting to see that there are 48,000 members.[/quote]
How did you have the time to click through all those freaking pages!!!0 -
why don't they get rid of in active numbers. How can we seewhere fo ticketsThis is Not For You0

48,000 paying members times $20 annual fees = $960,000 just in fees alone.

Just type a random start number in the address bar, and see where it is. Deduce it that way by trial and error.'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

It looks like after our sleuthing they disabled that page for us and if you notice we can no longer click on user profiles.
And to answer a previous posters question, if you change the number in the top of the link you can skip ahead a lot so I just did it until I get around the date the old board started 8/28/03.- Busted down the pretext

no I'm pretty sure that's the number that's been floating around for years, somewhere in the 40,000 mark
I don't think the assignment number has anything to do with the number of members
everyone who has ever purchased anything from the ten club is assigned a number, doesn't make them a memberDon't come closer or I'll have to go0 -

that is a good point . So how many true members are there today? This is Not For You0 -
Also non-tenclub members can still send people PM's, so I guess the question is, of those 48,000 number, was it of actual members, or just of people registered here?0
