Good catch! That's all I can think of, but who knows? If only it showed member numbers too to find out where we all stand.'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

When a person signs up for a membership, do they automatically get signed up as a member of this board, or do they have to create a profile.
Perhaps there a members who never use the internet and thus have never signed in online, but have active memberships through the mail.
Would they have a default user account or not?
That could tell a part of the story/Help in figuring out if that is an accurate number.0 -

I just sorted by username to locate myself, then found my join date that way. Then sorted by join date and found myself again.. by this way, I found out I have the 27,744th best 10C number around! Woohoo!
For those of you who'd like to do the same, just know that the "Sort by" fields are hidden in that white bar at the top. Just hover your mouse over it and you'll see it.'05 - TO, '06 - TO 1, '08 - NYC 1 & 2, '09 - TO, Chi 1 & 2, '10 - Buffalo, NYC 1 & 2, '11 - TO 1 & 2, Hamilton, '13 - Buffalo, Brooklyn 1 & 2, '15 - Global Citizen, '16 - TO 1 & 2, Chi 2

If there are members that have never signed in online, that means they have never bought tickets through the Ten Club. Which kinda means they don't affect our member numbers, at least as far as concert seating is concerned.0 -

i do remember back around 2000 or 2003 someone saying Tim said about 40,000 active 10c members... so this 48,000+ number makes sense... it was just always hard to tell because they don't get rid of inactive numbers.0 -
It does seem kinda low, I wonder how many 10C members still only rely on snail mail that's not included.PJ- 04/29/2003.06/24,25,27,28,30/2008.10/27,28,30,31/2009

The logic used was flawed. I think this relates to the date you joined the pit as my member number is #32,xxx and my join date shows 2006. So that means the numbers being calculated have nothing to do with membership seniority, it only shows when you joined the Pit in relation to other members. I hope that all makes sense. I know it does from my standpoint as I guarantee you I have been a member farrrrrrrrrrrrrrr longer then since 20060

You are correct.
If you scroll your mouse over your user name it tells you what number you are in relation to joining the old board. For example, I'm 392 and you're 31,016 which just means that I signed up the day the old board opened 8/28/03 and you joined three years later.
memberlist.php?g=7&sk=c&sd=a&mode=group&start=18570
You can see where user names started coming in on that date - pretty much anything prior with a few exceptions are just a combo of letters and numbers.
So you really can't determine seniority at all from the member list on here. But it is interesting to see that there are 48,000 members.- Busted down the pretext

That is true. I joined the board in 06 and the Ten Club in 1998.
A couple interesting things. There are 5 members who's join date is 1969, and then a dozen or so from 1970.
I imagine those are for old time employees and perhaps even band members?
There was a mass sign up of 6,179 people on July 1st, 1998. I think that is when the database was created and all current 10 club members were added with that date. ( just some ideas, not sold on any of it)
Then as of August 10th, 1998 it appears as if people have normal join dates.
I wonder how many of those join dates correspond with an old computer system?
Anyway, there is probably no correlation, and a tough code to crack if there is one.
I would think from the moment the old board opened then most people who signed up were then actually put in order?0 -
Kat's join date must have been a month or so before they opened the old board.

I was told that 10C member numbers that range from 1000 to over 400,000 represent individuals that bought an item from the 10C. If you were the 59,586 person to make a purchase and it included a new 10C membership that would become your 10C member number.
I joined the 10C in 1994 or 1995 . . . I don't know what the 1998 join date means.0
