Pearl Jam Karaoke!

So, a couple of my friends and I are hanging out at the bar last night, and they have karaoke every Thursday. One of my drunk friends decides out of nowhere he's going to sing Small Town, which caught me completely off guard, since he is not really a Pearl Jam fan. I said if we was going to sing Pearl Jam I'd do it, too, but let's pick a different song, because as much as I enjoy it, Elderly Woman Behind The Counter in a Small Town is not the ideal drunk college bar karaoke song. Eventually we did Betterman, which was pretty good. I did the harmonies on the final refrain. I'm sure it was...excellent. :?

Anyway, has anyone else ever done this? What's the best PJ song to karaoke to?

    ah, yes...Pj Karaoke. i actually won a contest at a dive bar for my rendition of "Hail, Hail" & then I sang "Go" in the final! 8-) they gave me a tshirt, $10 best buy gift card and free beer for the rest of the night. good times, good times!!!

    Yeah we have kareokee every monday around here...i did Given to Fly and Breath. I can by no means do either of those songs justice, but the crowd still loved the performance. :geek:

    Where you at in South Oakland? I won't be there next week - spring break. But the week after we will be there, guaranteed

    almost every bar around here has karaoke, the only problem is they don't have much of a selection... there is one place that has a few more than the others, but it's usually almost always a country crowd there, always fun to do though...

    Alive sounds wrong in parts but is okay.
