I'm 26 and I can't hear it! :( ...not only do I have bad vision but my hearing is bad too?

I'm not liking this aging process at all.

ugh, I am deaf :( I just tried again and I did turn it to a very high setting to barely hear it. I may be deafer than the average old person due to all the concerts I've been to. Just started wearing earplugs the past 10 years.
Well, I think it just happens naturally as we gracefully age. Our ears can't hear frequencies that we used to be able to. On the plus side, it probably means that I can start yelling "Eh? Speak up, sonny!" at everyone now and actually get away with it. ;)

    Nope, you didn't hear it.

I tried it again with headphones on.

This time it was higher pitched, but still not very loud.

So maybe I'm only going half deaf!

    I'm 19 and heard it! :P
I brought both of my parents into the room to see if they could hear it or not. Mom, who is 44, could hear it. Dad on the other hand, who is 45, could not! I then poked fun at mom's worsening vision, whilst dad's is still perfect!

  • I'm 36, turned my volume all the way up and I heard a high pitched tone, but very faintly.... I think it gave me a headache. It does seem I must be getting old.

I'm 32 and I could hear the high-pitched tone, but it sounded faint to me and the longer it played, the less I was annoyed by it. In fact, by the end of the recording, I don't think I could hear it anymore. But right at the beginning, it hurts my ears a little bit.

I'm 30 and with headphones on I can hear the sound clearly and it hurts!

When playing through my laptop speakers though its hard to hear with all the background noise.

I turned my speakers to full and could not hear it.
I don't think it loaded properly.
I am having a hearing test on Tuesday btw.
