creative point: all age is relative, 31 is a fine prime digit to orb the sun & only in his 3.66666667 zodiac asian cycle years Ed has indeed thrived so well less is now more
I posted in this pointless thread to discuss that it is very neat some Pearl Jam forum members can very well still become excited, reguardless of how, not old you are... but, how 'bout many years young one can be or how many creative prime numbers one will hit mearly only being 9 years into the new millenium...
equally worhtless, now is'nt that what you meant ?
it was pretty pointless, i'll admit. i didn't really have much of a point, but i just had one of those moments where i was: 1. browsing the board, b. listening to the vic (why go was the song of the moment), 3. thinking that i was 13 the first time i heard that song and, d. 6 or 7 newcastles deep. that all got me thinking that yea, this band, the music, and me have officially been around a long time now. not saying it's a bad thing at all. just a pointless thought.
rock on.
i'm more a fan of popular bands.. like the bee-gees, pearl jam

Just a few days ago I've been thinking about 15 years of my life with pearl jam. And 18 years ago I was 15 listening first time Alive.
The same I thought then - time goes so fast! 15 years ago I thought how it would be after 10 or 20 years - will Pearl Jam still be "alive"? Strange - I have short memory, but really remember my thoughts and feelings then. And they didn't change so much now:)
Why every thread must have a point?

with his age and the fact that the band is coming up on 20years soon really made me think of the fact that I am getting older. I told my wife that they are almost 20 and all she could say was ewe. If they are almost 20 that means we are going to be 37  and have listened to them since the begining. Her and I started dating out of HS about 93 and we graduated in 92. I said to her laughing that we are going to be coming up on our 20 year HS reunion as well. She didn't care for that very much.

I think it happens to all of us.. when I first started listening to them I was 13 and now I have a son that's almost that age  ... I always wondered what it would be like 10, 15, 20 years later, if they would still be there or if it was just high school fever for me... obviously it was more than high school fever, 17 years later and now almost 31 sometimes I look back and I can't believe it's been so long....
and im closing in on 31.. good god, where has the time gone?
(that said.. this next album and tour will be the best yet!)
I was 31 in 91 when Ten came out. Hated most of the music of the 80's  it SUCKED! We needed Pearl Jam. Turning 50 this year and looking forward to the new album and another tour (hope to see you there D.). Time does fly when your having FUN ! BTW Hartford was awesome, Thanks!
So, What you Giving ?........ (Thanks Speedy, Alesek, & Arq+friends)
What You Giving
I suggest you step out on your Porch.
Run away my son. See it all. Oh, See the World!
Ed may be 44 but he is still as sexy as he was in his 20's!!
BTW, I am 31 and have been crushing on Ed since 1992 when I was a 14 year old high school freshman! I am still amazed that I love PJ's music. I actually like them more now then I did as a teenager!
