in approx 2 more hours! :mrgreen::mrgreen::mrgreen: or as lizard called it, a 'staycation'....but 9 days of BLISS, at home with hubby! yes! 8-)


moives...dinners out.....sleeping late....time with the doggies and kitty.....just RELAXXX. work will be absolute HELL when i return, but i will be uber-chill and mellow.....yeeeeaaaaaaaaa...

    Woohoo! Congrats for you two!

    I'm taking off Monday and Tuesday of next week, but I go back in Wednesday and Thursday, but then off on Friday for another 3 day weekend.

    So this will feel like a vacation of Sorts. A 4 day and 3 day vacation! Hooray!

    I'm heading out to AZ in a month for a week (annual trip, usually for two weeks, but not this year), and then to CA in May for a week and a half for my honeymoon. Bring it on.

    absolutely!
    i love travel too...but have done a lot these past couple years, and trying to be kinder to the wallet this year. :D besides, the past couple of 'staycations' we've had, we actually did a LOt of home projects. fun, sure...and so worthwhile....in december painted 2 rooms, hung some shelves, etc.....love the results! but it's nice to just RELAXXX too. that is what THIS staycation is ALL about! 8-)

    Came back home to Florida last week to get my taxes in order. Heading back out to Colorado Wednesday for a couple of weeks of boarding, then to NY for a week. Then heading to Arizona for the sweet 16 Western final round before heading back to Colorado for the last 3 weeks of the ski season. From Nov. 22nd till the end of April I'll only be home in Florida for 10 days. Work is overrated! ;) I love being on a permanent vacation. :D

    :shock: Florence is the most beautiful city in the world. The highlight of my trip to Rome was actually a trip OUT of Rome to go to Pompeii :mrgreen: but it does take a fulll day... so if you have plenty of time, try to make it to Pompeii... absolutely amazing.

    Never been to Venice though :( not quite sure how that's happened cos I've been to Italy several times and travelled around Tuscany and stuff... but just never made it to Venice :(
