SWPL gets under people's skin b/c it's so true.

My favorite chapter is the one about Apple products. People buying Apple so they can "creatively check email, creatively listen to music, and creatively hang out with the other 10 creative people in the coffee shop using a mass-produced product from a publicly-trade company" or whatever. lol, awesome.

They talk about tea a lot? I just have friends who will tell you to drink tea for everything... flu? Have some tea. Cold? Have some tea. Broke your leg? Tea will fix it! Chlamydia? What, you didn't know tea prevented STD's?

Helen, you just got metsied.

In all seriousness, sure, racial supremacy is not good. We all know this, and these folks are a very small, teeny-tiny minority. No one takes them seriously. Why create a thread about this? It's like creating a thread called "Kicking 2 year olds in the face is alive & kicking." Except it gives you an opportunity to 1) be offended (SWPL reference) and 2) raise awareness (SWPL reference) and 3) while being supposedly outraged, do very little about it because it requires you to actually put out some effort beyond talking about it with your elitist friends (SWPL reference).

:? how come people have a problem with me starting a white supremacy thread? Sure I know it's only a small minority... but there are threads about a way less important things... like a woman having 14 kids or whatever. Why create a thread about anything? 8-)
