I could argue with myself about the albums all day, but there is no way I could put them in any order..

I do have one song that stands above all the rest..

Reworked or old version, more so live and just about any version from '06..

In My Tree.

Good pick! I like No Way. Too bad they never play it live.

Sorry, couldn't resist. I agree, it's near impossible to name one single song as their best. A top 10, maybe...

  • I've tried to do this lately, on a bigger level. I've been trying to put together a compilation to show a buddy from high school who quit listening to PJ after Vitalogy just how much he is missing out on...

The problem being that I can barely narrow it down below the entirety of every album since. Sure, I can leave off a song here or there... but I still end up with play-lists well over 40.

So, yeah, trying to pick a single song would probably make my head explode... twice.
If Adam and Eve had Taco Bell they would have never eaten that filthy fruit...

in my tree is definitely in my top 10,
a great song to just get lost in.

  • Better Man - Haven't skipped it once.
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.
