    i agree this will likely reduce traffic... which is bad for the forum
    but i assume it will make it easier for the mods


    i guess people are just voicing their opinions but it amazes me how quickly that turns into a bitch fest...
    have any of you called the 10c to discuss this? or you just talk shit from behind the safety of your keyboard?

    Firefox definitely does make the site look better. But how boneheaded are the designers of the site if they don't design using the browser with by far the most market penetration? I get that it is cool to use Chrome, Safari, FireFox, and shun IE, but not when you're designing sites, and especially not when you're designing sites people have to pay to post on.

    agreed....although i doubt they designed it without ie in mind...they seem to be building this as they go and using us a beta testers....it will be a while before everything is running smoothly....of course, they could have left as it was and we would have been happy :)

    Mostly fit and finish at this point and at this point. They made big improvements over the previous release where it was almost unusable in IE because of the way text and background colors conflicted. Much nicer now. I just get frustrated when I see designing for IE being an afterthought. I think Firefox is a much better browser, by the way, so I'm not trying to evangelize any particular browser, I'm just talking about design practice.

    that's strange. my version of explorer shows it equally as well as firefox. none of that black weirdness up top, nor harsh colors shown in your pics. the only thing that explorer does is make the header just slightly off to the side a little bit, but not enough to matter. maybe those using IE need to update their versions?

    Yup, Im at my sis's for now on her comp and its easier to read then on my mac at home. But ill take my mac even if its harder to read :D

    OK, finally I can post. I'm usually a pretty tech savvy guy, and I've figured out that my account on the old board is linked to my gmail, and my tenclub account is linked to my hotmail... so I figure I need to change one of them in order for the two accounts to link... but I can't figure out how to do that, and I can't even figure out how to change my screen name without linking the two accounts.

    AGREED!! Hi, I am Kushikushun, but you see I cant post here under my own name. This is my husband nick bc I BOUGHT HIS MEMBERSHIP FOR HIM...grrrr.
    So, I am not a member but have been the one posting on the forum. But cant post here under my own name, since I am not a paying member WTF?!

    Edit: Ok, I just emailed 10C to see if they can fix this and put my e-mail addie in the membership info instead of his. That would be the easiest way for me to be able to post under my own nick, wouldnt it?

    Why should anyone pay to post. It seems like blackmailing ppl into paying membership fees?!!

    Edit: Just toning down a bit...haha. Still don't agree with the membership only thing on here though. I think we will loose a lot of ppl.
