How do we get everybody over here!!!

I haven't been to the pit since the community opened. its a new year, out with the old and in with new, all ready people. show your appreciation to what they have giving us. this is what we asked for, now we have it and nobody uses it. someone tell the those people the keg has been tapped!!!

    The old board closes on Jan 15, so more people should arrive then. I'm mostly staying there until it is closed. But lots of people aren't coming over, since this is a 10C only board. So a lot of regular posters on the Pit who aren't 10C members are gone.

    I can't seem to be able to log in to the old site anymore, so I guess the transition was easy for me. I am here now. Everything will be ok ;)

    The Porch will still be busy but the other sections might die though since most of them aren't coming over cuz they can't use it.

    i just wish this board wouldn't be exclusive. or that they weren't shutting the other down. it seems like a slap in the face to a lot of people who have supported the band over the years to make them pay for access to a web forum. there was always so much going on over there... it's been my favorite website. now i just dont' know :(

    I agree, if they are going to shut down the other board then this forum should remain the same as the other. I realize that this forum seems to be designed for 10c members, but others should be able to come here as well. I totally support the 10c...I have been paying my membership ever since it was only $5 to join!

    Let's be optimistic about this forum though..looks like alot of hard work went into it...I am excited about it.... :D

    It is a slap in the face. If I had known this was in the pipeline, I'd never have renewed my 10c membership this fall. This is the last straw, and I'm done with it.

    I think it might look differ depending on if you use Internet explorer vs. Firefox. I have heard Firefox is easier to see the colors with which is what I use. I have not tried it using IE.

    I have mixed feelings about a paid membership being required. Like what happens if you're banned from the board - are you banned from logging into your Goods account too? Does it f*ck with your seniority? I liked how the things were separate before.

    However, between the Pearl Jam Community board, and Red Mosquito board, everyone has somewhere to post. But there is a special thing about everyone coming to one unified place... but I suppose PJ has to pay their bills too.
