    There are better alternatives - rapidshare, megaupload and of course torrents!

    its p2p - bad speeds and plenty of spyware and viruses.

    Stick with soulseek or just go for torrents.

    will soulseek work for macs though?

    and i will never be able to figure out what the hell a torrent is or how to use it.

    You can download Tomato Torrent for Mac. Just google it...it works the same as the PC torrent programs.

    Basically you can go out to torrent sites and search for whatever you want. Then you download a tiny file that connects your PC with all the other computers that have that same file...and that's where you download from...not from one person..but many.

    agreed....though limewire is a good place for individual songs
