Does anyone know how to DOWNLOAD the (streaming) videos from GoogleVideo and save them to one's hard disk??
I have faced it, A life wasted...

just copy the url for example on youtube (url which is on the right side) then go to http://www.keepvid.com paste the url then download, convert and play. have fun!

well its not working.
i have been trying to download the video to be found here -

but after about 5 mb of download, it always stops !!!
can you please see if you can download the video to which i just provided the link.I have faced it, A life wasted...

if you're a Firefox user you can download this add-on called "Ook? Video Ook!"
with that add-on you can download onto ur comp any video from google video, youtube etc.
only downside is that the format of the video is weird but you should be able to play it with VLC Media Player thingy or find a converterGiven To Fly

ok i downloaded and used ook-video-ook... but it doesnt help in all cases.
for example i still cant download anything from google.video, though youtube seems to work fine with ook-video-ook.
can you download the following video -

Well, sometimes I do have to add the extension of the file: (filename).flv
You don't have to convert it, you can also download a flashplayer: http://www.download.com/FLV-Player/3000-2139_4-10467081.html0 -
playing the file once its downloaded isnt the problem. i can play both .flv and .avi files since i have the requisite players.
the problem is that I CANT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING FROM GOOLE VIDEO.
please try to download the following video and if you suceed, then let me know how you did it.

Do you have this error: Error (enlace no encontrado).?
I asked some friends of mine, we all have the same conclusion..... It looks like downloading from google video doesn't work anymore :(
You can still download vids from Youtube.0 -
I just don't trust anything that bleeds for five days and doesn't die.0

you have to delete everything after &q (&q=Fish+Chris&total=722&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=9)

copy and paste this in keepvid.com you generate the downloadlinks.

even after deleting the bit after "&q" and downloading from the link generated from the truncated part, i could only download about 6 mb after which the download stopped.
i think we have to kiss google video goodbye when it comes to downloading.I have faced it, A life wasted...
