I just ordered a Dell Inspiron E1505 Notebook

I bought it with Microsoft Office Word/Excel/Outlook
Upgraded it from 512 MB to 1GB
It has a 15.4" screen (XGA screen quality)
Pentium Dual 1.6 gHZ
Operating System is Windows XP

It'll get to me by around Sept. 12th.

    I actually bought it for work, so I'll be able to write it off as a business expense.

    I just got "issued" to me from work a HP Compaq NC6000. 512 MB RAM, 60 Gig HDD, 1.6 GHz Pentium M processor, 15" viewable screen, Win XP Pro, internal wi-fi card......all the software bells and whistles i want.

    I asked, cos this week, I bought the following:

    HP dv5220
    1 Gig RAM
    120 Gig HD
    Intel Core Duo
    8x DL Lightscribe DVD burner
    15.4" widescreen
    6-in-1 media reader
    FW/USB ports

    Only thing I would've changed is the integrated video memory, but I'm quite happy, especially at this price: $849.
