songs not adding to iTunes

I didn't know where else i could possibly get answer to this question since no one on the apple discussion board is responding so I figured I would ask someone on this discussion board. Hopefully I can find an answer
For some reason a file that I just downloaded is not able to be transferred over and imported to iTunes. I have tried to drag and drop it as well as choosing File-Add to Libary and neither one works. Nothing happens when I do either one.
The file is an osc mp3 (atleast thats what the summary says) I don't know what that means or if that has something to do with it not working.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
James

to burn to a cd you need to create a playlist file>new playlist then drag the song(s) into that playlist.....then right click on the playlist and click burn......i'm assuming you don't have an ipod so to make the song an mp3, take the cd you just made and rip it back to itunes or the software you use to synch to your player....:)0 -

Ok cool.
Burning the cd, I can do that.
now, once I have the cd, I have to rip it back, however it is an ACC purchased audio, will that stop me from turning it into an mp3?Turn this anger into

nope.....the cd has no information pertaining to what format it was previous.....you can take that cd to any computer and rip it as many times as you want....:)0 -
