port forwarding?

with my router

D-Link - 504t i have managed to open prots for a program called soulseek.

i dont know how to open for torrents as i heard it makes them faster

    You'd do the same thing as you did for soulseek, open the ports up, but instead, use the ports your torrent program uses (check http://www.bittorrent.com for ports or your clients homepage for them as well)
