last night i was on 1003, just come on today iam on 997, just posted 4 times, still 997

i was just wandering if anything was up? and if so this might be help to the mods to correct it.

whats the situation with you guys

    hmm. pbm told me it was something to do with kat and sea deleting threads, but, 20 threads , thats a lot !

    well it could be true, or you may have posted several times in one topic

    If you do a search, threads past a certain day no longer exist. I can only assume that when they do regular forum maintenance some threads get deleted and so do posts.

    yeh , and if i did more search than being lazy, i could have found another thread about this which was started a couple weeks back!

    Okay...but then how do we actually end up with such high counts?
    Like, I have over 5,000....does that mean I likely posted a whole lot more? I know most of my posts from a long time ago has to be gone now, yet my count is still over 5,000.
    I am wondering if at some point they get rid of old threads and permamently give us our count at that maintenance time and if they delete any before the scheduled maintenance time....the post count goes down??
