'Welcome to the "3" mailing list' - anyone else get this email?

If you ever want to unsubscribe or change your options (eg, switch to
or from digest mode, change your password, etc.), visit your
subscription page at:

http://stone.pearljam.com/mailman/options/3/allegate%40xxx.com

You can also make such adjustments via email by sending a message to:

3-request@stone.pearljam.com

with the word `help' in the subject or body (don't include the
quotes), and you will get back a message with instructions.

You must know your password to change your options (including changing
the password, itself) or to unsubscribe. It is:

xaxife

Normally, Mailman will remind you of your stone.pearljam.com mailing
list passwords once every month, although you can disable this if you
prefer. This reminder will also include instructions on how to
unsubscribe or change your account options. There is also a button on
your options page that will email your current password to you.
anyone have a clue here? none of the links work and the email address provided just bounces back to me.

    I just "signed up" for it, so we'll see if I get a response as to what is going on with this.

    Now you got me curious... I didn't do the email part of the links in the original post but when I click on the http://stone part there, my screen gives me the Page Not Found error. When I click on the part that says "Open the stone.pearljam.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want" it takes me to the Merchandise part of the Ten Club site. EXCEPT the real Ten Club site says http://www.pearljam.com at the top of my screen with buttons for the other parts of the Ten Club site (news, video, tour, etc). Allegate's link at the top of my screen says http://secure.pearljam/karta and doesn't have those buttons...

    I'm might be paranoid (shuddering to think about identity theft on my precious Ten Club account!!) but this just doesn't seem right to me... plus this is the only post I can find by 'Allegate' in the PJ Message Pit so I'm not going there no more!

    This email was going around a while ago. I remember receiving it and not having a clue about it. I was told to delete it, as it was possibly someone had gotten hold of our email addresses and was sending virus' but can't remember what the actual outcome was.
