How long do threads usually last?

I'm looking for the "Official Yield Night" thread from February and it seems to be gone. How long do they last usually? 3 months? 6 months?
No longer overwhelmed it seems so simple now.

    It varies. Some threads stay around a long time, others get deleted sooner. If it appears to be gone, it probably is. :)

    yes.
    the impermanent nature of the internet. i like it for that very reason at times....but other times, i am saddened when i see just how many threads have *poof* disappeared into cyberspace. :(
