Can We Make Posts With All Caps???? I Hope Not.....it Is Rather Annoying....but I Didn't Realize We Actually Couldn't Do It Anymore.

    I Am Typing This Whole Post With The Caps Lock On. No Lower Case At All And I Bet All Words Will Have Capitol Letters With Lower Case Rest Of The Word.

    BuT...

    IF I HAVE JUST ONE LOWER CASE IN THE BUNCH I CAN TYPE THE REST IN ALL CAPS AND IT WILL BE IN ALL CAPS.

    As a matter of fact... caps lock or manual shift doesn't make a difference as the text is only submitted after being typed and the fact that the difference in upper or lower case is only a different ASCII code and thus does not make it clear wether caps lock was used or not ...

    ANYWAYS, nice theory though

    My point is that you cannot make a new post in all upper case on this board by typing in all caps. When you do exactly that - the board makes every word start with a capital letter and converts the rest of the word to lower case.

    True, there is no difference between holding the shift key while typing or hitting the caps lock key.

    How come Ahnimus was able to do it on the previous page? He typed the word HACKED and it came out all caps... is it because he added an exclamation after it?

    Because he didn't type is entire post on all caps. He had lower case letters (albeit hidden) in his post. He typed exactly this: [noparse]HACKED![/noparse] and the vB coding will count as lower case letters.
