Yeah, it's probably some jank ass knockoff that they try to make for easy assembly over there or something. It's like when I tried getting Lemonade across the pond. The fucking shit was carbonated like soda - DEEEEEEEEsgusting!

i dont know what it is with oreos, but if i have those around the apartment i turn into a chick. i sit on the couch in sweats and eat them by the package while watching bad tv. that's why i dont buy them anymore.

as to why buy regular... half the fun of oreos as a kid was splitting them up to make your own double stuffs :) you get basically 2 chocolate animal crackers PLUS a double stuff oreo and it's WAY more fun trying to achieve the perfect separation :D
    and like that... he's gone.

Well I didn't like Oreos when I lived in the US either :p

There are several different types of lemonade here. What you would want would be 'cloudy' or 'traditional' ... it you get just lemonade it's similar to 7up/Sprite

  • My wife asked me a few days ago what the point of regular oreos were since there's double stuf...I couldn't fathom an answer except that I supposed there are still some weirdos out there that keep buying them. :) Glad to see I was right. I guess. I mean, it's been 33 years since double stuf came out - when will you people learn that the extra filling is a MUST?

Think about it scientifically: The original had TWO cookies and a layer of filling equal to one cookie. The cookie-to-filling ratio was completely out of balance! If double stuf didn't come along to equalize the volume between the filling layer and the two cookies, the earth probably would've been eaten by a black hole! It's science people - indisputable.
    I like the way u think:D

I bought so many Oreos the other day! I got a package of Double Stuff, 2 packages of the Halloween ones(the filling is ORANGE!) and my favorites, the ones that the cookie is vanilla and the cream is chocolate!
So as we were sitting and eating them, me eating my vanilla cookie ones and my daughter was eating the Double Stuffs, I told her that back in the day a regular Oreo was the size the Double Stuff ones are now, and the DS ones were huge!
I hate regular Oreos, the cookie gets all stuck in my teeth!
