    Im not so sure about America compared to Canada. In Canada there are vast swaths of forest where this critter could hang out....in the States a lesser degree from my understanding but these ares still exist Im sure.
    Given that it is likely a primate with increased intelligence, he/she could probably hide out indefinetely.
    I would much prefer that they didnt find evidence of it and that they should leave well enough alone. Hopefully this turns out to be a hoax, all we need is a bunch of ignorant fucks combing the backcountry looking for its buddies.

    Yeah, as well traveled as American mountains/forests are, even the remote locations (excluding Alaska), I just don't see it happening. Canada on the other hand. Maybe so. But I agree, if they really find one, then it is over for the rest of them.
