  • Spiders do not scare me, but waterbugs do.

Waterbugs do not scare my daughter, but spiders do.

We have a pact: I shoo spiders outdoors; daughter shoos waterbugs.

they're in afghanistan too. when my bro was over there, the chaplain actually caught one and put it in one of those ziploc freezer bags. its leg was broken, that was the only way he got one because they run super fast. so he'd walk up to guys and go "hey, catch!" and watch as they screamed and ran. talk about a sick sense of humor!

Nah.. that's not a doctored pic. It's just two of them holding onto eachother.
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

i'm actually a big fan of the spiney-backed orb weaver :D

they're definitely the most fascinating spider that i've ever come across. there was one that built a web outside of a townhouse i lived in w/ a couple of friends. they thought i was crazy for not wanting to kill or at least move the spider from around our front door. but, he would just weave these fantastic webs. i would sit outside and watch...he was like my little pet :)
yes...i do feel like a human. i do not feel like a tree.

My GOD! You all have a good memory

Those Orb Spiders are indeed amazing...we had them out on a farm we lived on early this year, and you'd walk through one in the evening (scary as hell) and then the next morning the web would be back-bigger and better than before....

That Iraq Spider looked rather disgusting...
